CAGE100 PresseinfoCARILLON PROJECT lässt 1.000 Glocken für John Cage läuten
Mit Aufführungen in den USA und Litauen startet am 4. Mai 2013 das weltweite Carillon Project des FZML. Zwischen Mai und August erklingen in mehr als 40 Aufführungen weltweit John Cages selten zu hörende Kompositionen für Turmglockenspiel. Neben den Konzertterminen in Deutschland gastiert das Carillon Project u.a. auch in den USA, Frankreich, Belgien, Litauen, Dänemark, Luxemburg, Großbritannien und der Schweiz. Insgesamt werden innerhalb des Carillon Projects mehr als 1.000 Glocken John Cages Kompositionen in die Städte hinein und über die Marktplätze hinaus tragen. CAGE100 PressinfoCARILLON PROJECT lets 1.000 bells ring for John Cage
The worldwide Carillon Project starts on May 4th 2013 with performances in the United States of America and Lithuania. Between May and August John Cage's rarely played compositions for carillon can be heard in more than 40 performances worldwide. Besides the concerts in Germany the Carillon Project will guest for example in cities in the USA, France, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Great-Britain and Switzerland. Altogether more than 1.000 bells will send out John Cage's compositions to the town squares and beyond.
